About us

The Trafalgar Entertainment Trust is the charitable arm of Trafalgar Entertainment, an international live entertainment business with interests in theatre production, venues, ticketing, live streaming of content and Performing Arts education. Trafalgar Entertainment Trust is a registered charity dedicated to transforming lives through the power of the arts.

The Trafalgar Entertainment Trust widens access to the Arts by offering a range of creative and participatory activities that are responsive to the needs of the diverse communities we serve. We believe the arts should be accessible to everyone. Through our Creative Learning programme and theatre-based initiatives, we deliver inspiring projects that build confidence, improve wellbeing, and bring people together. Each year, we work with 50,000+ people across the UK and beyond, breaking down barriers to participation and nurturing the next generation of performers, creatives and theatre lovers.

What We Do:

Creative Learning: Bespoke workshops, youth theatre, outreach sessions and community projects delivered in 14+ venues across the UK.

Youth Programmes: Opportunities for young people to learn, perform and explore careers in the creative industries.

Community Partnerships: Working with schools, colleges, care homes, and charities to make theatre inclusive and affordable.

Professional Development: Training, masterclasses and work placements to upskill and inspire future arts professionals.

Access for All: Subsidised tickets, dementia-friendly events, and inclusive sessions that tackle loneliness and support wellbeing.

The Trafalgar Entertainment Trust does not receive financial funding from Trafalgar Entertainment or Trafalgar Theatres. All financial income is raised through external grants, charitable funding and donations.

The Trafalgar Entertainment Trust is a legally and operationally independent charity and is separate from both Trafalgar Entertainment and Trafalgar Theatres. It has its own governance, trustees and decision‑making and operates independently of any commercial theatre business.

From time to time, the Trafalgar Entertainment Trust may receive in‑kind support from Trafalgar Theatres, such as staff time or access to venues. Any such support is non‑financial, project‑specific and provided at the discretion of individual venues. It is not guaranteed, is not ongoing, and does not influence the Trafalgar Entertainment Trust’s governance, programme design or strategic direction.
